DESIGN, BUILD AND COMMISSION DRIVER ACCESS PLATFORMS

Our client, Stadler had a requirement for the design, installation and commissioning of access platforms for driver accessibility at three locations (Southport, New Brighton and West Kirby).

​

RTS supported the client with our design services, sharing our expert knowledge and dedicated design team to incorporating the Civils, M&E, Track, Signalling and ETE elements to form fit for purpose solutions to the client's request.

 

Following design completion, RTS  installed walkways and driver access Hop-Up platforms to all locations.

​

To facilitate the installation of the hop up – amendments to the track signalling and third rail power were undertaken during safety critical blockades.
